Beyond Words Bash

Join us for Literacy Minnesota's third annual celebration of literacy...starring Wing Young Huie!

Our third annual Beyond Words Bash will feature keynote speaker Wing Young Huie, a local, award-winning photographer. His best known public installations, Lake Street USA and The University Avenue Project, transformed two Minneapolis and Saint Paul thoroughfares into six-mile photo galleries reflecting the everyday lives of their residents.

We'll also hear from several adult literacy learners and welcome Devon Gilfillian, an AmeriCorps alum and Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose hit single "Get Out And Get It" was recently named a best song by Rolling Stone magazine.

This can't-miss evening includes cocktails, dinner, stories from literacy learners, a live auction, remarks from Wing and upbeat music from Devon and his band. Buy your tickets today!

8:30 -9:30 p.m. | Optional afterparty featuring a bonus concert by Devon Gilfillian and his band
